Private alpha for agent builders
CallAlternative is building the phone-calling layer for AI agents: authenticate once, start a call asynchronously, poll for status, and retrieve the transcript, summary, and structured outcome when the call finishes.
Built on CallAlternative's existing browser-calling stack, hosted MCP adapter, and async goal-directed calling path.
Phase 1 flow
The target user is an agent builder who wants to say what outcome they need, not manage SIP details or call lifecycle edge cases by hand.
This alpha lane is focused on the smallest useful loop for autonomous phone work: start the call, track progress, fetch the result, and review past attempts.
Phone calls can take minutes, hit hold queues, and end in ambiguous outcomes. The product direction here is an async job model with durable state instead of a fragile request that blocks until the call ends.
Calls return a job reference immediately so an agent can move on and poll later.
Results are meant to include a transcript, summary, and machine-usable outcome instead of raw audio alone.
The AI lane shares CallAlternative's backend, auth, logging, and operational guardrails instead of creating a separate stack.
Join the alpha path for AI calling and get updates as the onboarding flow, MCP surface, and call-results dashboard become productized.
